Master League API released!

Dear friends,

We wish you a very Happy New Year 2017! Let it bring health, prosperity and many happy moments to you & your loved ones!

In as far as MasteLeague is concerned, we have decided to kick off into the new year by implementing a long requested feature: we are finally opening up the access to our database via an API. You can find documentation, browsable API and code examples at api.masterleague.net.

To be honest, we have no idea how popular the API is going to prove to be, so, in order to protect our servers, we decided to initially throttle anonymous requests (60 requests per minute and 1'000 requests per day). We might revise these limits in the future and will inform you accordingly via our Twitter account.

In addition to that, we are providing premium (authenticated) access to the API with upgraded request limits (100'000 requests per day). You can find all the details in the API documentation. Everybody who kindly supported our website last year with their generous donations is eligible for free premium access as a token of our gratitude; just drop us an email at .

Keep in mind that this is just the first version of the API. Let us know in the comments section how do you like it, and what do you think could be further improved. We will try to implement your suggestions in future updates!
